CP - Friday Afternoon Movies: Gotta Dance! Gotta Sing!

Come see some of the dancingest, singingest movies Hollywood has produced during an old-fashioned ?Friday Afternoon at the Movies? series from 1 ? 3 p.m., in the Community Meeting Room of the Central Point Branch Library, 116 South Third Street.

 

Each movie will be shown with a classic cartoon or short. Program length will vary based on movie running times. Admission, popcorn, and refreshments are free, provided by the Central Point Friends of the Library. 

 

June 17: Singin' in the Rain (1952) rated G.

June 24: Damn Yankees! (1958) unrated.

July 1: The Music Man (1962) rated G.

July 8: Grease (1978) rated PG.

July 15: The Pirates of Penzance (1983) rated G.

July 22: Footloose (1984) rated PG.

July 29: Hairspray (1988) rated PG.
