Summer Reading Program for Adults

Travel through books this summer, visit exotic places, or learn more about your own backyard. Adults can join in the fun of summer reading and win prizes, too. Jackson County Library Services hosts the adult Summer Reading Program, ?Novel Destinations.?

Pick up a reading log at any branch library, list four books you have read or listened to between June 13 and August 14, return the form to a local library, and you will be entered to win a prize. Weekly winners will receive a gently-used book. At the end of the summer, there will be a drawing for the grand prize of a dinner certificate to the restaurant of your choosing. All completed entries need to be turned in by August 15, 2011, to qualify for these prizes.

Stop by or call your local branch for more information, or contact Amy Blossom at the Ashland Branch Library, 541-774-6987.
