Build your writing skills and confidence while you write in a supportive, inspiring environment at a Writing Workshop on Saturday, September 3, from 1:00-4:30 p.m., at the Ashland Branch Library,
The Writing Workshop, facilitated by Deborah Holmes, is open to both new and experienced writers of all genres. A variety of writing prompts will be provided. Spontaneous writing is balanced with voluntary reading of what is just written. There is a focus on generating and developing first-draft writing that is fresh, unexpected and convincing. Please arrive on time with your pen and paper, ready to write.
Although there is no charge for participating, registration is required and limited to 30 people. Call the Ashland Branch Library at 541-774-6996 for more information and to register. This workshop is sponsored by the Friends of the Ashland Public Library.
