Fresh off a successful debut in the Pear Blossom Parade, with an amazing float and public introduction of The Expo?s
new mascot, Rogie Bear, The Jackson County Fair announces the musical acts coming to the 2011 Summer Fair.
Big Time Rush will set teen hearts a-flutter on Tuesday, July 19th. Country-music fans will flock to The Expo on
Wednesday, July 20th when hit-maker Clay Walker takes the stage. And Thursday, July 20th, the
be rocking along with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.
Not to be outdone, local and regional musicians will hit the stage on Friday, July 21st and Saturday, July 22nd for our
Country & Blues Festival. Fair attendees will enjoy the music of Coyote Creek, Jason Johnston & Mike Boren, Amy
Clawson, Curtis Salgado, The Rhythm Kings, and Broadway Phil & the Shouters.
This year?s fair has more to offer than ever before including:
- Two new exhibit halls: Sportsman Hall and Fashion & Accessory Exhibit
- ?Dock-Diving Dogs? competition
- Improved food vendor layout with picnic table dining
- The Expo?s huggable new mascot, Rogie Bear
Always a favorite, local 4-H and FFA projects and animals will be on display. Within the next few weeks, Open Class
exhibitors can begin to submit their work in categories ranging from quilting to photography. In addition, professional,
junior, and exhibitors with special needs are being encouraged to submit their projects. New this year: Entry information

Tickets will go on sale May 5 at 3:00 p.m.; advanced ticket sales will be available at http://www.attheexpo.com/.
